These are some security related tips

preventing  a burglar to come near to your home or apartment

  • Put locks on the gates to your back yard.
  • Put a “Beware of Dog” sign on your gates, even if you don’t have a dog.
  • At a flea market or garage sale, buy a pair of used dog dishes for large dogs, leave them visible on your patio or deck.
  • Also dogs barking make burglars consider if the dogs would bite him or wake up the home owners!

  • Trim large tree branches to negate them climbing onto the roof to access 2nd floor windows.
  • Trim bushes and shrubs around the front of your house & windows to eliminate hiding places while they break in thru windows.
  • Sliding glass doors? Big picture windows? Ask your glass professionals about shatter-resistant films to prevent entry or glass breakage alarm from your alarm company.

  • don’t keep valuables in home. open a safe deposit box at bank and keep all the jewelry and documents.
