1 stick + 2 tablespoons of salted butter, softened
1/3 cups of granulated sugar
1 cups of all-purpose flour
Vanilla extract (optional)
Preheat oven to 325°. In a bowl, beat the sugar and butter together until it is fluffy, then stir in the flour.
Form the cookies into 1 inch balls, placing them about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. If using sprinkles, flatten cookies into a disc shape and top with sprinkles.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until edges are golden.
