Ricks cafe built several times as it was destroyed by hurricanes by 1988 Hurricane Gilbert which hit the island by waves that went as high 25 feet on the cliff and over the trees. Rick’s Cafe was soon rebuilt but Hurricane Ivan in 2004 destroyed it again by waves that went as high as 60 to 80 feet.
The Café has a nice restaurant and bar and offers a free drink to those who dare to make the cliff jump! The sunset is awesome from this point so you should not miss it and you can see the cliff jumping by expert.
