buy and sell books

Looking to sell your books, video games, DVDs, CDs and iPads? You’ve come to 2nd & Charles located in Kennesaw, Georgia. . Looking to buy some used books, video games, DVDs, CDs and iPads? You’ve also come to the right place! This place is just so right in so many ways.

How It Works:

The short answer? Like magic. Turn your old books into an e-reader. Turn your old video games into new ones. Turn your CDs into vinyl records. Or turn it all into sweet, sweet stacks of crispy legal tender (a.k.a. “Cash”). The not-so-short answer? Like this:

1. Show Us Your Stuff

Once you arrive, you’ll notice some white bins near the front of the store. Take the stuff you’re wanting to sell, deposit said stuff in the aforementioned bins, and bring it up to our Buy Back counter. That’s when we’ll start assessing the value of your goodies, and judging your taste in media. (Just kidding about that last part).

Please bring a government-issued photo ID. Also, if you fill up more than 3 bins, it could take a little longer to process. Just ask.

2. Take A Number

After you drop your stuff off, we’ll give you a claim ticket. Be sure and hold on to that little guy, because that’s how you get your money/credit later.

3. Browse the Stacks

While we’re looking at your stuff, you should look at our stuff! We’ve got used books, CDs, DVDs, video games, vinyl records, e-readers, and a whole lot more. It’s all looking for a good home—and it’s going at great prices.

4. Your Number’s Up

Keep your eyes peeled for your claim number on one of our screens. When it appears, head on back to the Buy Back counter.

5. The Moment of Truth

Based on the condition of your stuff and our current store inventory, one of two things will happen: 1) We’ll offer you the option of cash or store credit for your items, or 2) We’ll return your items to you. If #2 happens, please don’t feel bad: it’s nothing personal. It’s not you, it‘s us.

If you leave the store while your order is being processed, you must return to retrieve the order/offer one hour before the store closes. It the order is not retrieved before this time, it will be processed for store credit.
